It all begins with an idea.
“What is missing in my life?” I have asked this question so many times in my own life journey.
I was doing well professionally. I studied law in England. My legal career spanned almost 3 decades in Malaysia and Singapore. I worked as a litigator, a corporate attorney and a derivatives legal counsel. My employers were specialised boutique law firms, a global oil and gas company as well as leading regional and global banks.
On the personal front, I have a supportive husband and 3 fantastic children who never cease to amaze me with their unique personalities. I am blessed with close-knit friends whom I know I can count on at any given time, no matter where they are geographically. I am an active member in my local church and my husband and I do our part to contribute to the church’s various ministries.
Yet, there was an inner yearning for something more. I felt that I was not living my life to its fullest potential.
…and yet something was still missing.
I first experienced coaching in an organisation that I worked for. I felt its powerful impact. I wanted to learn more and to coach beyond the organisational space. I had put off training as a professional coach because I told myself that it could wait until my life is less busy. Life just got busier and I felt even more unsettled. It came to a point when I could not silence my inner voice, “Stop making excuses! If you don’t do this now, you will never do it! You will live to regret it!” So, I took the plunge and never looked back since!

My professional coach training at the international Coach Academy is an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) by the International Coaching Federation. An ACTP accredited program is an “all inclusive” comprehensive coach training program which provides their coaches with a minimum of 125 hours of theory and practical training such as peer coaching, mentor coaching and observed coaching as well as a stringent performance evaluation process.
I’m proud to be certified as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) by the International Coach Academy. It is an honour and a privilege to be part of the rich alumni of coaches at the International Coach Academy.
I am also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) a prestigious credential conferred by the International Coaching Federation. As an ICF credential-holder, I have coached for more than 700 hours and uphold a strong commitment to high ethical standards. In order to receive this credential, I have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, excellence and professional competence in my work with my clients.
Driven by my belief to empower people to live their lives in alignment with their values and passions, I always seek to improve myself in order to effectively support my clients.
In my search to develop mastery in my coaching skills and to support the coaching community, I have trained and obtained certification as a mentor coach with the guidance and mentoring of Jamee Tenzer and Sheri Boone in their Mentor Coach Certification program. I strive to work with my fellow coaches as their mentor to celebrate their strengths and to grow their coaching competencies to better serve their clients.
