It begins with a purpose and the courage to live it…

I became a lawyer because I believed it would equip me to support people when they needed it most. Today, helping others remains at the heart of everything I do. Through coaching, mentoring and supervision, I support people to grow, lead, and thrive while staying true to themselves.

I’m Jenny, founder of River Life Coaching. After 25 years as a lawyer, I found myself reflecting on what truly energises me and gives me a sense of higher purpose. While I loved the challenge of complex legal work, I realised my passion lay in helping people unlock their potential, navigate pressures, and lead in a way that feels authentic.

That realisation led me to pivot into coaching. I am an ICF-credentialed coach, mentor coach, positive psychology practitioner, and coach supervisor (in training), and my coaching practice combines research-based tools with a deeply human approach.

I believe introversion is a strength, not a limitation, and I help clients learn to lean into it to lead confidently without losing themselves in the process.

My mission is to help leaders and professionals, especially those who are quieter, to be seen, heard, and respected while maintaining their energy, integrity, and focus.

Your journey matters.

The future of leadership lies in being more human and inclusive.

I help organisations build leadership cultures that recognise and harness quieter strengths, fostering an environment that values reflection, empathy, and thoughtful decision-making.

My belief is simple: leadership doesn’t need to be loud to be effective. It is powerful to serve from a place of quiet strength and clear vision. When organisations adopt a wider range of leadership styles, everyone thrives.
